The Russian American Center presents Russian Festival 2006, celebrating Russian traditions of music, ballet, dance, and art. The tradition of Winter Festival in Russia is centuries old, serving as a farewell to winter and a greeting to the coming spring. To keep this tradition alive, the Russian American Center has made the Winter Festival a yearly Texas event for the last ten years. A gala concert, awards presentation, art and crafts exhibits and sales, and reception celebrating Dallas – Saratov sister city partnership – all promise to make this a memorable evening.
