MISSION

The Russian-American Center (RAC) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that promotes world-wide educational, cultural, social and professional programs in the U.S. , Russia and New Independent States. RAC meets the following objectives:

• Promotion of the global exchange of culture, knowledge, professional and practical experience.
  
• Facilitation of links between educational institutions in the U.S. and Russia.
  
• Dissemination of Russian culture, including theater, music, literature, language and the fine arts within people of the United States, and conversely, introduction of American culture to other countries.
  
• Promotion of realistic images of all aspects of Russian and American life.
  

RAC was founded in 1996 in Dallas, Texas, USA.
